On the way to the veterinarians office yesterday, Cornell asked from the backseat: "Mom, is it illegal to drive your car with a parrot on your shoulder that has a yellow and blue mohawk?".
I sat for a moment and just absorbed that question. I told him, "No, that's not illegal, Cornell".
He replied, "Good! 'Cause that's what I'm gonna do when I get older. And when I say, 'Conway, can I have some bubble gum?', the parrot will say 'Conway, can I have some bubble gum?'". While he was imitating his fictitious punk rock parrot, he squished his face back and used the funniest mouth movements to make a very odd sounding parrot impersonation.
Conway immediately chimed in, "Bubble Dum! Bubble Dum!".
I damn near wrecked the car it was so funny!
