Most Definitely Not An LA Mom

Yesterday, we worked a table at the Healthy Kids Day at our local YMCA. Cornell worked the table with me for most of the day. We were there representing our family nature club and trying to recruit more members. Around 1pm, we crammed a piece of pizza in our mouths and kept on hawking the thought of unadulterated, family, outdoor time.

When I finished eating my slice in 3 seconds, I smiled wildly at Cornell and asked if I had any oregano in my teeth. He looked quickly and then looked away, saying "no, but your teeth are kinda yellow".

I grew up declaring to myself that I would never engage in such vain aspects of old-age like plastic surgery and teeth whitening. But, the old, saggy, yellow teethed me thinks that is easy to say when you are 16.
